Okay, so here are the recipe pages for the color wheel we do in color theory class. I am still working out the purples, I have to double check my old notes to make certain they are totally correct via mixture, but none the less the colors are the correct colors. I just have to play with their intensities again to determine which side of the wheel they go on.
The rest was shot by Karen Johnson in my classes down here in San Diego. Thank you Karen for the photos.

TAD art

Here are a few new images I am posting to announce my participation with TAD. The Art Department.org Vanessa will be coming on board soon, I was asked to fill a class last moment.

We are really excited and can't wait to start up with TAD.

Oh, and it has been a while. I need to be a little more responsive to the web these days...no more hiding under rocks:)

Godzilla vs. Kincade

This was for a show we did at Studio2ndstreet called Changes. My idea was changing the landscape of art, wiping away the old habits and bringing in something new. Actually, I took an old and wiped it away, the landscape filled with happy little cottages and such...and such ick...our world is oversaturated with this stuff, can we change that please?

drapery class

We teach a class that goes over procedures for drawing the figure clothed. This semester was a really productive semester and all the students improved considerably from the beginning to the last class, and it was awesome to see the rapid growth. These are demonstrations and quick sketches from that class.

More War...warcraft

Here are a few new warcraft images I can post.

the mattson 2 shoot

We had the opportunity to have the MAttson 2 and a Japanese film crew come in to film for Tortoise Matsumoto, he is famous in Japan with his music travel show and as a great guitarist. We expected this to be a film production, but as pro as they are, they came in, filmed two songs and bailed...this painting, a 2' x 2' was done in probably 20 minutes, I thought we would have more time, but of course, we never know what to expect when it comes to film production.
